About Colorado Rehab
Born from loss, built for recovery — a Colorado Springs treatment center that brings families from crisis to calm.
Our Story
Colorado Rehab exists because of a loss we could not accept as inevitable. Our founder lost a brother to addiction — not for lack of love, but for lack of the right help at the right moment. In the depths of that grief came a refusal: no other Colorado Springs family should stand where we stood, watching someone slip away with nowhere to turn.
That conviction became a center. We built Colorado Rehab to be the place we wished had existed — one that answers the phone at 3 a.m., stabilizes people in crisis, and stays with them through the long, quieter work of recovery.
Nine years and more than 3,900 patients later, that founding purpose still drives every decision. We measure our success not in beds filled, but in families kept whole.
Our Mission
Our mission reaches beyond treatment to prevention. We are here to stabilize and heal those already in crisis — and to keep others from ever reaching it, through family education, community outreach, and honest conversation about addiction across Colorado Springs. Treatment saves the person in front of us; prevention protects the next family in line. We are committed to both.
Treatment Philosophy
We treat addiction as a medical condition of the brain, and our care is grounded in that neuroscience — using what research reveals about reward, stress, and memory to guide every clinical decision. But the brain does not heal in isolation. We honor the mind-body connection, pairing therapy with movement, nutrition, and time in the Colorado outdoors.
And we practice cultural humility, meeting each person within their own background and beliefs rather than forcing one mold. Science, body, and identity — treated together, the whole person can recover.

What Our Alumni Say
"I arrived at Colorado Rehab in full crisis and found, for the first time, people who weren't afraid of how bad it had gotten. Today I run a peer-support group for their alumni. Helping the next person walk out the other side is the best part of my week."
— Rachel M., Alumni Mentor (2021)
"Addiction had cost me my marriage's trust and my kids' respect. The family program here gave us a language to start over. We're not perfect, but we're talking again — and that felt impossible two years ago."
— James K., Alumni, Colorado Springs
